Activity:         Dream Music:  play different kinds of music while painting, drawing or coloring.

Materials:      paint, crayons, fingerpaints, shaving cream, etc.

Procedure:

1. Read book and listen to cassette:  "I See a Song" by Eric Carle.
2. Have 4 children sit at a table that is covered in newspaper.
3. Give each child a sheet of fingerpaint paper.
4. Place small amounts of different colored paint on each sheet.
5. When the music begins, children listen and paint to it using their hands.
6. Stop the music occasionally and ask them how the music makes them feel.
