We have 2 1/2 acres of outdoor space dedicated to fun and learning. Some areas, such our garden, bushes, trees, flowers and animals are the real life elements of our natural science curriculum. Others, such as our pool and climbers, are for fun, physical development and confidence building. Some others, our 2 acres of grassy fields for instance, are for children to learn to enjoy and use their bodies, to learn to play by the rules of games and sports or are for just running and rolling around. Still others, such as our outdoor theater, are there for children to learn to express themselves creatively, alone or with their classmates in a play or dance show.
Parachute games are a favorite with kids, eyes wide with excitement as the wind billows the chute in the air. A friendly game of Colored Eggs with preschoolers.
